Acropora is the classic small polyp stony coral, prized for its branching growth forms and some of the most saturated colors in the hobby. It needs strong, stable lighting, high flow, and consistent water parameters to thrive, which makes it better suited to an established reef than a brand new tank. Give it room near the top of the aquascape where the light and flow are strongest and it will reward you with steady, visible growth.
